Frequently Asked Questions
1. What services does MedicalMedConnect offer?
We connect clients from Canada with trusted medical providers in Mexico—specializing in dental care, orthopedic procedures, and physiotherapy. We guide you every step of the way.
2. Is it safe to travel to Mexico for medical treatment?
Yes. We only work with vetted, certified professionals and clinics we know personally. Many of the doctors we partner with were originally referred to us by trusted family members and close friends. On top of that, we’ve done careful research into their credentials, experience, and patient outcomes to ensure they meet high standards of care. Our goal is to provide the same level of safety and professionalism you’d expect at home—often with shorter wait times and accessible pricing.
3. Can I speak with the doctor before traveling?
Yes. Before you travel, we will introduce you to a prospective doctor from our trusted network so you can discuss your case in detail and begin building a relationship.
We believe trust is essential—if you don’t feel fully comfortable, we can explore other options or arrange additional video consultations until you feel confident and supported in your decision.
4. What’s included in your service?
-
Free initial consultation
-
Personalized provider recommendations
-
Coordination with medical staff in Mexico
-
Travel and accommodation support
-
Ongoing communication before, during, and after your treatment
5. How much does your service cost?
We charge a transparent flat fee based on the complexity of your procedure and the level of support you need. This allows us to work independently from the doctors and always advocate for your best interests.
Our service fee typically ranges from $2,000 to $3,500 CAD, and you'll receive a clear quote before moving forward—no surprises.
Please note that medical providers will give you a separate estimate for their services, which may include:
-
Hospital and facility fees
-
Surgical equipment
-
A full medical team (nurses, anesthesiologists, surgeon, etc.)
We are not involved in setting or negotiating these medical costs—our role is to ensure you are well-informed, supported, and connected to qualified professionals you can trust.
6. Do you receive commission from the clinics?
No. We believe your care should never be influenced by hidden incentives. We don’t take commissions from doctors or clinics, so our focus stays 100% on what’s right for you.
7. Will the prices I pay affect locals in Mexico?
We work to ensure that the clinics we partner with continue offering affordable care to locals. That’s one reason we’ve chosen a flat-fee model—to avoid contributing to rising prices in the local healthcare system.
8. How long will I need to stay in Mexico?
That depends on the treatment. Some procedures (like dental work) may only require a few days. Others (like surgery) may require 1–3 weeks for recovery. We’ll guide you through the timeline before you commit.
9. Can someone travel with me?
Absolutely. We can help coordinate accommodations and travel for companions too.
10. Are you a travel agency?
No, we are not a travel or tourism agency. We specialize in medical facilitation—helping you connect with trusted healthcare providers and making sure you have the support you need throughout your journey.
While we don’t sell or book travel services directly, we will gladly guide you in finding reliable options for accommodations, transportation, and anything else you may need while in Mexico. Our goal is to ensure you feel prepared, informed, and fully supported every step of the way.
11. Can we meet you in person?
Yes—I'd be absolutely delighted to meet in person. I believe that truly understanding your situation starts with a real conversation.
